The 12th International Workshop on Applied Problems in Theory of Probabilities and Mathematical Statistics (APTP+MS’2018) (Autumn Session) related to modeling of information systems is conducted jointly by the Federal Research Center “Computer Science and Control“ of the Russian Academy of Sciences, Peoples’ Friendship University of Russia (RUDN University), and Tampere University of Technology. The Workshop will take place on November 5 – 9, 2018 in Moscow, Russia.
The APTP+MS’2018 workshop proceedings will be included into a separate Springer LNCS volume of the Workshop Proceedings (final approval pending) and will be submitted to Scopus and Web of Science indexing databases.
The Workshop aims to discuss contemporary issues of applied probability theory, stochastic processes, mathematical statistics, stochastic analysis, queuing theory in their application to the performance analysis and quality of service of modern communication networks. Nowadays one can see the wireless solutions have moved beyond their traditional areas of application and today we can talk about a space where users can interact with various technologies services. As a consequence the methods of the applied probability theory and mathematical statistics for the effective estimation of the wireless networks performance parameters have received much attention in recent years and have become a key aspect of application development. Further development in this area creates opportunities for the development of theoretical foundations, new mathematical models and methods for the performance analysis of future wireless networks. The Workshop is targeted to bring together top specialists in the field to discuss ongoing studies and obtained results. Continuing the great success of the previous events, APTP+MS’2018 Workshop is anticipated to attract high-quality submissions and stimulate the cutting-edge research discussions among academic researchers and scientists all around the world.
Prospective authors are invited to submit full-length original and previously unpublished papers. Submitted papers will be peer-reviewed by at last two members of the Scientific Programme Committee.
The congress organizers reserves the right to not include a paper to the Proceedings if the congress registration fee is not paid or if the paper is not presented on the ICUMT 2018 congress.
