The Autumn Session of the VIII International Workshop "Applied Problems in Theory of Probabilities and Mathematical Statistics Related to Modeling of Information Systems"
Call for Papers
Scope
International Workshop on Applied Problems in Theory of Probabilities and Mathematical Statistics Related to Modeling of Information Systems (APTP+MS’2014) will take place in conjunction with the IEEE International Congress on Ultra Modern Telecommunications and Control Systems (ICUMT 2014) to be held in St. Petersburg, Russia, in October 2014. The Workshop will be a half day event. Continuing the great success of the previous events, APTP+MS Workshop is anticipated to attract high-quality submissions and stimulate the cutting-edge research discussions among academic pioneering researchers/scientists and industrial engineers/leaders from all around the world.
Workshop topics:
- Modeling of information systems by methods of probability theory
- Modeling of information systems by methods of the theory of stochastic processes
- Applied queuing theory
- Discrete probabilistic models
- Statistical methods for the analysis of information systems
- Probabilistic models for information security
- Teletraffic theory
- Multiservice networks and Admission Control
- Analytical models of P2P networks
- Queuing Systems Modelling and Simulation;
- Performance Modelling and Analysis of Information and Telecommunication Networks;
- Information Flows Modeling and Analysis;
- Assessment of efficiency, reliability and stability (tolerance) of high performance information systems.
Proceedings
The authors are encouraged to submit full papers describing original, previously unpublished research results, not currently under review by another conference or journal, addressing state-of-the-art research and development in the area of probability theory and stochastic theory. All submitted papers will be reviewed. Accepted papers are planned to be published in IEEE Xplore and indexed in relevant databases. Paper submission is done via EDAS. The total length of a paper should not exceed 7 pages formatted according to the IEEE Template. Submit your paper to APTP+MS 2014 via EDAS here.
